St James - Clapham.
St James is located at the head of the village sited on the Craven Fault and is a lofty, spacious Parish Church, largely rebuilt in 1814 in Gothic style, but still retaining its fine perpendicular tower. The ends of the former Jacobean pews now panel the walls.
St Mary - Ingleton
Standing proudly but precariously on glacial drift above the River Dee, the church has been frequently rebuilt, but retains its Norman tower and a superb Norman font - thrown out in Commonwealth days and used for mixing mortar, but later restored to is rightful use with its remarkable narrative carvings intact.
Other nearby and historical churches which are well worth a visit include: St Leonard in Chapel-Le-Dale; St Oswald in Horton-In-Ribblesdale; St Alkelda in Giggleswick; St Matthew at Keasden and The Epiphany in Austwick
